So here's the deal. My '92 TT is sitting in the garage in pieces with just the engine pull left to do. 157K on the odo means a complete rebuild and I want to do it right. It'll be a weekend toy but capable of being driven somewhat frequently. No A/C, no stereo, no HICAS, maybe electric steering, and nothing extraneous that distracts from the driving experience. No flashy exterior, just minimal JDM upgrades and a satin black exterior. No reasonable expense will be spared, if it can be appropriately justified. I hope to drop as much weight as possible without replacing major body parts. I initially wanted to do as much work myself as possible but graduate classes and work have kept me out of the garage for two months now. I need your help and expertise guys. I've been researching for a while now and have been discussing my build with SZ and IPP. I just want to make sure I'm headed down the right path.
